The client wanted the television to sit inside a designed frame rather than hang on a wall, with light around it that could be watched comfortably in the evening.

01Set out the frame lighting so the LED sits behind the return and is not visible from any seating position
02Provided concealed power and data behind the panel with an accessible service point
03Added a cove run above the panel to lift the ceiling line
04Grouped the frame and cove lighting on dimmable control

The screen sits inside a lit marble frame, the panelling is picked out by soft edge light, and no cable or fitting is visible.
